Razzie Awards rescind 'Worst Performance' by Bruce Willis due to his aphasia
The star's diagnosis was made public earlier this week.
The Golden Raspberry Award, which is known as the Razziki, has withdrawn a recent award for "worst performance" by Bruce Willis.
The decision was announced after the announcement that he had been diagnosed with aphasia and was retiring from acting.
''After much thought and consideration, the Razzies have made the decision to rescind the Razzie Award given to Bruce Willis, due to his recently disclosed diagnosis.
If someone’s medical condition is a factor in their decision making and/or their performance, we acknowledge that it is not appropriate to give them a Razzie,'' Hollywood reporter quotes the words of the co-founders of the Razzies.
