The singer has created a "Fund for the Protection and Protection of trans Youth".
On the International Transgender Day of Visibility, Ariana Grande has pledged to match $1.5 million in donations to support and protect transgender youth.
She also opposed laws that concern transgender people, "Right now, hundreds of shameful bills are under consideration in the state legislature."
The money will be divided between 18 groups that are engaged in helping such people, per Daily Mail.
