Alec Baldwin is grateful that report 'exonerates' him after fatal shooting on 'Rust' set
The company, Rust Movie Productions, would appeal the decision.
Alec Baldwin claims a report released by New Mexico safety regulators slamming Rust brass as responsible for Halyna Hutchins' death after the actor shoot her. The guilt is on producers of movie.
"We are grateful to the New Mexico Occupational and Safety Bureau for investigating this matter. We appreciate that the report exonerates Mr. Baldwin by making clear that he believed the gun held only dummy rounds," the actors statement was published.
The Rust Movie Productions producers were ordered to pay about $137,000. The company disagreed and would appeal the decision, Daily Mail reported.
