He will host the show for another season.

TV legend James Corden will cease to be the host of The Late Late Show on CBS next year. He will leave the show after eight years of work, Deadline reports.

Cardin's contract expires in August, but he has agreed to host the telecast for another season, which will last until the spring of 2023. The comedian announced his during the taping of episodes of The Late Late Show in Los Angeles.

He said, "It's been it's a really hard decision to leave because I'm so immensely proud of the show. I'm thrilled to be extending [for a year]. I always thought I'd do it for five years and then leave and then I stayed on. I've really been thinking about it for a long time, thinking whether there might be one more adventure."
