'It's not like I miss of drinking': Cheryl Burke opens up about divorce from Matthew Lawrence
The dancer said the breakup with her husband "tested her sobriety".
Cheryl Burke spoke frankly about her divorce from Matthew Lawrence and admitted that it was hard for her to break up with her husband. She added that it was a good test of her sobriety — the dancer has not been drinking for more than 3 years after confessing to alcoholism.
"It's not like I miss the act of drinking. I don't. I never liked the taste of it. It was just for the effect. Absolutely, I've thought about it, especially [when] I'm home alone," quotes her USM.
The 38-year-old dancer added that she does her best to find peace in being alone. She is not yet ready for new dates, but she admits that she will soon want a new relationship.
