Taylor Swift received an honorary Doctorate of Fine Arts degree from New York University. During her commencement speech she subtly addresses cancel culture.
The singer confessed she grew in atmosphere of the idea that mistakes equal failure. Taylor Swift claimed she felt like she could go to "pop star jail forever and ever" if she did something wrong. But her experience showed her the opportunity after mistakes.
"Getting canceled on the internet and nearly loosing my career gave me excellent knowledge on all the types of wine," she said according to Nylon.
