Josh Duggar sentenced to 12 years in prison for child pornography
The prosecutor demanded a sentence of 20 years in prison.
Josh Duggar was sentenced to more than 12 years in prison for child pornography. The star of the reality show 19 Kids and Counting became famous for his strict views and the fact that he is the father of 7 children.
His reality show on TLC focused on strict parenting in a Christian family, including homeschooling, no birth control and kissing before marriage. His 19-year-old son was on the show with Josh.
Duggar was convicted on two counts of possession and receipt of child pornography, LATimes informs. These horrific videos depicted acts of child abuse. The prosecutor's office insisted on a 20-year sentence.
