Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos allowed comedians to make jokes about any subject
Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos said Dave Chappelle and other comedians can make jokes on their shows on the streaming service about literally anything. This comes after many people lashed out at Chappelle after his jokes about transgender people.
Ted Sarandos believes that freedom of expression is one of the core values he defends that is lost in American society.
"I think it's very important to the American culture generally to have free expression. We're programming for a lot of diverse people who have different opinions and different tastes and different styles ... We want something for everybody but everything's not going to be for everybody," TMZ quoted Sarandos.
