Kim Kardashian will take over skincare after KKW Beauty and KKW Fragrance close down
Kim Kardashian recently shut down her KKW Beauty and KKW Fragrance cosmetics lines because they had West's last name encoded in the TMs. Since she officially divorced Kanye and is no longer Kim Kardashian West, she needed a new name.
To avoid creating competition for her sister Kylie, Kim develops and sells skin care products. Her new brand does not provide decorative cosmetics for the moment. Kim announced on her social media that she will be launching a new skincare line June 21 on the new brand's website.
"I'm excited to finally introduce to you SKKN BY KIM, a rejuvenating nine-product skincare ritual that I have developed from start to finish. I've been so privileged to learn about skin and skin care over the years from the world's top dermatologists and estheticians, and every bottle from my new line is filled with the knowledge I've accumulated along the way," she wrote.
