Alaskan woman rescues curious opossum after wild animal breaks into New York bar
Sara Fulton, who grew up in Alaska, is the true superhero of New York City. She spotted an opossum that had accidentally wandered inside the busy New York City bar.
"I was outside hanging out with my friend outside the bar, the door was open, and then all of a sudden we see this critter run in, and we looked at each other, and we just were like, 'Was that a dog? Is that a rat?'" Fulton told NBC New York. "We both looked at each other and were like, 'That was too big to be a rat! It has to be an opossum.'"
Many customers were surprised with opossum visit squalled and screamed when they saw the marsupial inside. But not Fulton.
"I'm from Alaska, and I used to go camping with black bears hanging out at my campsite," she told the outlet.
She took the wild animal and released it outside.
