Matthew Morrison makes excuses for the message that got him fired from 'SYTYCD'
He was accused of flirting with a contestant on the show.
Matthew Morrison has responded to an accusation that he sent a "flirty" message to a SYTYCD contestant. Because of that message, he had already been suspended from the show as a judge.
Morrison said on his social media accounts that he didn't do it, and also showed a screenshot of the very message he sent to the contestant.
"It's unfortunate that I have to sit here and defend myself and my family against blatantly false statements made anonymously, but I have nothing to hide," he said.
All that was in that message was that Matthew was asking permission from the contestant to get his number and discuss some things with him, Insider writes.
