Jennifer Lopez surprised fans at the MTV Movie & TV Awards 2022 with a thank-you speech. The singer and actress were awarded the "Generation" award.
Taking to the stage to receive a golden trophy in the form of popcorn, the 52-year-old thanked the people who "gave her joy, and those who broke her heart," as well as "those who told the truth, and those who lied" to her.
"I want to thank all the people who told me, to my face — or, when I wasn't in the room — that I couldn't do this. I really don't think I could've done it without you. And I know I couldn't have done it without the fans who saw the movies," Jennifer Lopez quotes PEOPLE.
