The lead singer of 'Twin Peaks' Julee Cruise is dead at 65
The singer's relatives have not released the exact cause of death.
Singer Julee Cruise, remembered by many for her role as the blonde lead singer in the TV series Twin Peaks, has died at age 65. She had been ill for a long time, in her own words, with lupus, which gave her a lot of pain.
She had spine pain and leg failures in recent years. The singer's relatives confirmed her death on social media, but did not give an exact cause of death.
"She left this realm on her own terms. No regrets. She is at peace ... I played her 'Roam' during her transition. Now she will roam forever. Rest in peace, my love," Cruise's family wrote.
