Adreian Payne dies at 31 after being shot in Florida
Police have yet to release details of the murder.
Police said basketball star Adreian Payne was shot dead in Florida on Monday morning. The police responded to the shooting and arrived at the scene while Payne was still alive, he was taken to the hospital, but the 31-year-old athlete could not be saved.
The name of the shooter is also known, it turned out to be 29-year-old Lawrence Dority. He was arrested on a first-degree murder warrant. Details of Adreian's death have yet to be released, TMZ informs.
"Hate the news i received this morning… Rest Easy to my brother/teammate Adreian Payne," tweeted Jared Sullinger, the former Ohio State Buckeyes star who played with Payne.
