'This is Amy, not Will': Amy Schumer got death threats after joke at the Oscars

Amy Schumer got death threats after joke at the Oscars

Amy Schumer reveals she received "death threats" after her performance at the Oscars. The reason was her joke about Kirsten Dunst, writes People.

Schumer, as co-host, joked that the Best Supporting Actress nominee, 39-year-old Dunst, was a "seat filler" next to her husband Jesse Plemons. Jesse was nominated for a role in their film The Power of the Dog.

"I got death threats. They were so bad that the Secret Service reached out to me about that bit. I'm like, 'I think you have the wrong number. This is Amy, not Will. The misogyny is unbelievable," she explained.
