Body found missing 13 years ago teenage girl, killer arrested
Investigators believe Brittanee was killed before being buried on April 26, 2009.
Brittanee Drexel, 17, has vanished long time ago, in 2009. Her body was found only now, 13 years later, when she could be 30-years-old.
The body was found on May 11 in Georgetown County, authorities say. And the murder was also caught, 62-years-old Raymond Moody.
"This is truly a mother's worst nightmare," teen’s mother Dawn Drexel told reporters. "I am mourning my beautiful daughter today, as I have for the last 13 years. We are much closer to the peace that I have been hoping for."
Moody is also charged with with kidnapping and sexual misconduct, PEOPLE informs.
