Britney Spears' father Jamie Spears is accused of 'dodging' sitting down for a deposition
The father of the star does not come to court sessions.
Britney Spears' lawyers accuse her father, Jamie Spears, of refusing to testify.
The lawyers filed a motion to compel Jamie, saying that he "has not yet appeared to testify." The statement claims that Jamie also did not comply with any of the previous at least eight dates proposed for testimony, People reports.
"Mr. Spears can run, but he cannot forever hide from his legal and fiduciary obligations. After using his daughter's money for more than 13 years to fund his legal fees and expenses, for the first time, Mr. Spears will now have to pay his own legal fees," Britney's lawyer Mathew S. Rosengart writes.
