Bruce Willis's daughter Scout shocked by fan reaction to her father's illness
She thanked the fans for their support.
Scout LaRue Willis called it "surreal" the level of support fans are now giving her father. She thanked fans for the kind words after Bruce Willis was diagnosed with aphasia.
In her social networks, she writes that fans expressed a stream of all-consuming love for the actor, who, due to a speech disorder, had to leave his film career.
"Yesterday was so surreal, sharing something so personal. I didn't know how it would be received, there is always an unknown when sharing out so vulnerably into the world," she said.
