Craig David reveals he was overweight at school and had zero attention from girls
Craig David said that as a teen he was overweight, so the girls were not interested in him at all. The 40-year-old singer recalled that at the age of 14 he weighed 92 kilos, which also affected his health.
On Steven Bartlett's podcast The Diary of a CEO, Craig said that at the time, girls were more interested in "football team captains" than him. But he also found positive aspects in this.
"You were the slightly overweight one that they'd cry on your shoulder and tell them your problems. You'd have this real empathic relationship, it would be like this connection, but they didn't want to take it any further than that. He's the one – look at how he scored the goal," laughed Craig.
