‘Creative suicide’: Mads Mikkelsen talks about Johnny Depp replacement in ‘Fantastic Beasts’
The actor said he tried to find an another way of acting.
Mads Mikkelsen commented Johnny Depp replacement. The actor portrayed dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald in Fantastic Beasts after Depp’s libel suit against The Sun.
Mikkelsen claimed producers had to solve this problem overnight. "They were just panicking," he said.
The actor didn’t want to copy Johnny Depp work on role. It would be creative suicide. We had to make it our own," he said to GQ.
