Drew Barrymore apologizes for making fun of Johnny Depp and Amber Heard's trial

Drew Barrymore apologizes for laughing at Depp and Heard's trial
She called their lawsuit "multilayered insanity" on her show.

Drew Barrymore has apologized for speaking out about Johnny Depp and Amber Heard's trial, Metro informs. The fact is that Depp sued his ex-wife because of an article in which his name was not mentioned, and called her a liar.

Heard filed a counterclaim in which she also accused Depp of defamation. Drew, apparently confused, spoke out about the trial with derision on her show.

"It's like one layer of crazy, it's a seven-layer dip of insanity. I understand all the feelings, but they are actually offering up this information that nobody had to know. This is crazy!" said the actress.

These statements caused a reaction among her viewers, and soon Barrymore wrote on her social networks that she apologizes to everyone who was offended by her words, including Depp and Heard.
