Ed Sheeran selflessly paid for medical bill for The Wanted’s Tom Parker
British musician Ed Sheeran personally helped pay for treatment at the private clinic of Tom Parker, who suddenly died of brain cancer.
The Wanted singer died at the age of 33 in March after being diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor known as glioblastoma in October 2020.
Parker's closest friends were with him during his battle with cancer and made sure he got the right care all day and day after day.
And among them was British singing sensation Sheeran, according to Parker’s forthcoming memoir, titled “Hope: My Inspirational Life.”
Parker called the “Shape of You” hitmaker a “special man,” and said his kind gesture “meant the world” to him and his wife, Kelsey Parker, The Sun reports basing on an extract from the book.
