Eric Clapton, who was against covid restrictions, got covid
Eric Clapton has fallen ill with a coronavirus and is canceling all of his upcoming performances. Last summer, he protested against covid restrictions and did not want to perform in venues where vaccination certificates were required of the audience.
In addition, at the beginning of the pandemic, he revolted against lockdown and bans on performances in venues with large crowds. Soon after, he became an advocate of the vaccination conspiracy theory, DeadLine informs.
His reps now claim that Eric is anxious to avoid transmitting the infection to anyone in his band, team, promoters, their staff and fans. Doctors have also advised him to fully recover before resuming concert activity.
