Famed actor Fred Ward dead at 79
His last onscreen appearance was as Eddie Velcoro on True Detective in 2015.
The famous actor with a more than 40-year career in the movie Fred Ward has died at the age of 79.
The family wished not to disclose the cause and place of death of the actor.
Before becoming an actor, Ward tried on the role of a military man, boxer, lumberjack in Alaska and other works.
Ward made his big-screen debut in 1974's Ginger in the Morning after starting out on television, and went on to appear in series like Quincy, M.E. and The Incredible Hulk,PEOPLE reports.
