Iman Vellani admitted that she auditioned for Ms. Marvel almost by accident
Iman Vellani, who will play the role of Kamala Khan (Ms. Marvel) in the new film universe movie, revealed why she flew in to audition. Turns out, she didn't really want to be the lead actress in the mini-series that much.
Vellani admitted that she really wanted to meet the people of Marvel and was obsessed with the comic book universe and didn't even think she would pass the audition. Now because of that audition, she may have a great career in Hollywood that she never even dreamed of, People writes.
"And the fact that I even got a screen test and was able to fly out to L.A. and meet Louis D'Esposito and Sarah Finn, the people who really built Marvel, it was crazy and super surreal," Iman added.
