Prince Harry and Meghan Markle recently made a surprise trip to Windsor to visit the Queen. It was not clear why this visit was not announced, and why it turned out to be such a secret. Royal reporter Omid Scobie suggested that the queen's aides did not know about this trip either. He believes that the couple wanted to hide the meeting from them.

Cosmo quotes Omid as saying that in the past, the queen's private secretary "tried his best to prevent the couple from visiting the monarch at Sandringham."

Perhaps it is the queen's assistants who create discord in the royal family, and Harry and Meghan wanted to do everything unexpectedly.
