Jodie Foster will play the main role in this part, and the season will be called "True Detective: Night Country". For the first time in the series there will be two female protagonists.
The action in the film will take place in Ennis, Alaska, at the Arctic research station Salal, where six men mysteriously disappear during the long winter, Collider reports.
