Johnny Depp could have made $22.5M for 6th 'Pirates'
He was rejected from the franchise due to allegations made by his ex-wife.

Johnny Depp learned first hand what the "cancellation culture" is because of the scandal with Amber Heard and accusations of domestic violence. A few years ago, he was kicked out of a sequel to the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, USM informs.

According to Depp's agent, the actor would have received $ 22.5 million for the sixth Pirates of the Caribbean film. Unfortunately, after Heard's accusations, Disney changed the plot of Pirates and there was no role for Johnny in the script.

Despite the fact that the "cancellation" was canceled, it is still difficult for Depp to return to the cinema and find worthy roles. The scandal with Amber caused significant damage to the reputation of the actor.
