Kevin Samuels funeral fundraiser turned out to be fake
The family of the late Kevin Samuels said they were not involved in a fundraiser for his funeral. It turned out that the GoFundMe, which planned to raise $50,000 for Kevin's funeral, was backed by an imposter with no connection to Samuels' family.
The uproar rose after a fundraising page appeared on the Internet. Kevin's family was accused of hypocrisy, because he himself had spoken of complete financial independence. However, there was no hypocrisy, only fraud, TMZ insiders said.
GoFundMe removed the fundraiser from its platform and even offered Kevin's family the money already raised (which wasn't much), but they refused to accept it. All the money should be returned to the donors.
