Kidd Creole sentenced to 16 years in prison for killing a homeless
Rapper repeatedly stabbed the victim with a steak knife.
Rapper Kidd Creole was sentenced to 16 years in prison for manslaughter of a homeless man, the Mirror informs. In 2017, he stabbed a man named John Jolly several times after thinking he was gay and molesting him on a New York street.
The singer from Grandmaster Flash and Furious Five fled the scene after the incident. Mr. Jolly was soon discovered by tourists, the man wounded by a steak knife was taken to the hospital, where he died.
The 62-year-old rapper pleaded not guilty, he believes it was self-defense.
