Kurt Cobain's legendary guitar has found a new owner.
Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain's guitar has been sold at auction. The guitar is notable for being featured in the video for the song Smells Like Teen Spirit and used on the band's albums Nevermind and In Utero.
So the $4.5 million price tag seems justified. Moreover, a valuable little thing was originally exhibited for 600 thousand dollars.
The new owner of the lot is collector Jim Irsay. His fortune is estimated at 3.5 billion dollars, TMZ informs.
