Love Island contestant hints Laura Whitmore is hosting the show thanks to her husband
Laura Whitmore responded to a Love Island contestant who said she was a bad host. Rachel Finni also added that Laura got the job on the show because she's married to show narrator Iain Stirling, Mirror writes.
In her social networks, Laura touched on this topic and made it clear that these accusations upset her greatly. She said that she has been working on television for 14 years and won the competition to become the face of MTV. Laura added that she worked hard and with the best teams, but never got a job because of men.
Whitmore also noted that such statements from women sound wild and speak of a flourishing sexism that women have been fighting for so many years (and, judging by Rachel's statements, unsuccessfully).
