Mac Miller drug supplier sentenced to 11 years in prison for counterfeit oxycodone
This resulted in a fatal overdose of the hip-hop artist.
The district judge sentenced Ryan Michael Reavis to 10 years and 11 months in prison. A man sold counterfeit oxycodone pills to a drug dealer Mac Miller bought them from.
After that, Miller died due to an overdose in 2018. Reavis pleaded guilty 5 months ago, The Hollywood Reporter informs. Prosecutors initially asked for more than 12 years in prison, and lawyers believed that five years in prison was the maximum possible for him.
Miller was found dead at his home in San Fernando Valley, California on September 7, 2018. The rapper died from an accidental overdose of fentanyl, which he took with cocaine and alcohol.
