Neil Patrick Harris apologized for the joke about Amy Winehouse's death
He was the only one to mock the soul star's addiction.

Neil Patrick Harris has apologized for his old Halloween "corpse of Amy Winehouse" joke, which recently surfaced on social media. The joke is more than 10 years old, but Neil has only just gotten "hit on" for it now.

In 2011, when Amy died of an addiction to alcohol, the actor and his wife threw a stand-up party decorated in the shape of the late singer's body. This photo suddenly began to be discussed on the Internet and condemned Harris for a tasteless joke.

"A photo recently resurfaced from a Halloween-themed party my husband and I hosted 11 years ago. It was regrettable then, and it remains regrettable now. Amy Winehouse was a once-in-a-generation talent, and I'm sorry for any hurt this image caused," TooFab quoted him as saying.
