OK! Magazine stops publishing its weekly issues
This is the first major celebrity publication to be closed.

There is a noticeable crisis in the celebrity press market. As Page Six informs, OK! Magazine was the first one to stop publishing its weekly printed issue.

The magazine ran for 17 years and was launched by British businessman Richard Desmond in the US in 2005 following the success of the publication in the UK. According to sources, from time to time OK! will publish special issues, and the magazine's website will continue to operate.

The crisis in this area began even before the coronavirus pandemic, but two years ago it took a hit as print editions stopped buying due to the lockdown and reduced air and rail travel.
