Paolo Nutini tells what event inspired his first album in 8 years
Paolo Nutini recently announced that he is releasing his first album in 8 years and has already presented new songs for the long years of silence at the first show. Turns out, something happened to Paolo during that time that inspired him to write new songs.
Now the singer has revealed that he has been truly heartbroken during his absence. At his first performance since 2015, he sang 10 new songs (there will be 16 songs on the album), almost all of them were about unhappy love or the breakup of a relationship.
One of the songs even has lines like:
"It's like you swallowed my heart... I never told you, I loved you. And I looked into your acid eyes. He went on to sing: 'You moved so fast, we'd never last. And now you're gone, away to Mexico," Paolo was quoted by The Sun.
