Prince William supports Britain's first openly gay footballer
The Duke of Cambridge supported the athlete for his bravery.
Prince William online shows his support for Blackpool Football Club player Jake Daniels. The athlete became the first prosperous gay professional football player in more than three decades.
The Duke of Cambridge commented on this event on the social network. He signed the post with the initials of his name, per Harpersbazaar.
''Football should be a game for everyone. What Jake has done takes courage and will hopefully help break down barriers that have no place in our society. I hope his decision to speak openly gives others the confidence to do the same,'' he wrote.
