Rihanna says she kept A$AP Rocky in the friend zone for a very long time
She met the rapper back in 2012.
In the new issue of Vogue, Rihanna opened up about how her relationship with A$AP Rocky began. The 34-year-old singer admitted that she kept the 33-year-old rapper in the friend zone for a very long time.
"And I certainly took a while to get over how much I know him and how much he knows me, because we also know how much trouble we can land each other in," she said.
Rihanna added that it had been like this all her life - everyone with whom she had a relationship had been in the stage of her friends for a long time before that. It took A$AP Rocky almost 9 years to win her heart.
