Ripley's Museum says Kim Kardashian didn't tear Marilyn Monroe's dress

Ripley's Museum: Kim Kardashian didn't damage Marilyn Monroe's dress
The "before and after" photos that went viral turned out to be fake.

Ripley's Museum stood up to Kim Kardashian, who was accused of ripping Marilyn Monroe's iconic Met Gala 2022 dress. Museum officials said the "before and after" photos that went viral were fake.

They explained that Kim returned the dress in exactly the same condition as the museum provided it to her, TMZ writes.

"A report written on the dress's condition in early 2017 states, 'a number of the seams are pulled and worn. This is not surprising given how delicate the material is. There is puckering at the back by the hooks and eyes,' among other instances of damage. From the bottom of the met steps, where Kim got into the dress, to the top where it was returned, the dress was in the same condition it started in," Ripley's Believe It or Not!
