'Rust' producer confident that they will finish the movie
The cinematographer's death at the hands of Alec Baldwin has put filming on hold.

Rust producer Anjul Nigam said he is confident they will be able to finish the film after the investigation into the tragedy on the set. Nigam and Baldwin's other film, False Awakening, presented the day before at the Cannes Film Festival.

"Rust is obviously a horrific tragedy. The investigation will hopefully be resolved soon and will unveil what happened," says Anjul Nigam.

Recall that on October 21, 2021, cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, 42, was shot dead on the set in New Mexico, the gun was in the hand of Baldwin, 64. The actor claimed he did not pull the trigger, and he believed the gun was not loaded, The Hollywood Reporter informs.
