Sarah Jessica Parker came to the Met Gala in a dress inspired by the First Lady's dressmaker
The star drew inspiration from the official theme "In America: An Anthology of Fashion".
Sarah Jessica Parker appeared at the Met Gala 2022 in a strapless ball gown by Christopher John Rogers. The model of the gown is made of black and white colors with the addition of gray elements.
The look had buttons on the bodice and a full skirt. The actress completed the look with opera gloves with bows on the elbows and a headdress from London milliner Philip Treacy.
The dress was inspired by the work of Elizabeth Hobbs Kelly, who made a successful career as a dressmaker Mary Todd Lincoln during the former first lady's time in the White House, Harpersbazaar reports.
