NASA's Ingenuity helicopter captures amazing images of perseverance rover landing debris. Pictures were published on Wednesday, 27 April.
Photo shows both the parachute that helped the agency's Perseverance rover land on Mars and the cone-shaped backshell that protected the rover in deep space and during its fiery descent toward the Martian surface on February 18, 2021.
Scientists want to study the remains in preparation for a future mission, where they intend to bring a rock from Mars back to Earth. Actually, they don't think the parachute's canopy has any signs of damage.
