Spanish court dismissed Shakira's appeal in tax fraud case
The singer is accused of owing $15 million in taxes.
A Spanish court has tossed out an appeal from Shakira in tax fraud case. She was accused за failing to pay up to 14.5 million euros ($15.54 million) between 2012 and 2014.
The singer was saying to live in the Spanish northern region of Catalonia during those years. Meanwhile Shakira said she moved to Spain only in 2015 and has met all her tax obligations as her official residence was in the Bahamas at the time, Reuters reported.
