'Surreal dream': Minnie Driver speaks out about public split from Matt Damon
Minnie Driver has revealed that her public breakup with Matt Damon was like "a strange, surreal dream". Driver releases his memoirs, in which he talks in detail about the relationship with the actor and their high-profile break in 1998.
"I don't care who you are, that is agony and it's like a strange, surreal dream. But I know he didn't put that picture there. It's so tricky, because it's not deliberate. He couldn't have how helped famous he became and how his life was being picked over, in the same way that mine was," said Minnie.
The driver could not recover for a long time after Damon, without any warning, told on the Oprah Winfrey show that he did not have a girlfriend, although at that moment he was still dating Minnie, Insider informs.
