Tom Cruise did not pilot fighter plane in 'Top Gun: Maverick'
The actor was not entrusted with a too expensive plane.
59-year-old Cruise always insists that he performs his own tricks. She also separately said that he performed all the tricks himself in Top Gun: Maverick.
Cruise has told many times how he had to go through months of training to learn how to cope with overloads and pronounce his lines in the film without fainting and vomiting.
Producer Jerry Bruckheimer admitted that the actor applied for permission to fly the plane, but the Navy refused him. Presumably on the grounds that the $70 million plane was simply too expensive, the Daily Mail reports.
