'The tour continues, unless I am jailed': Someone called the police on Joe Lycett
Joe Lycett revealed that one of the viewers of his show disliked his joke so much that he even called the police. The former Great British Sewing Bee host wrote on his Twitter that it happened a few weeks ago during his touring show.
The comedian added that police have already opened an investigation into his joke. True, he doesn't even know himself what kind of joke caused problems with the law.
"To be fair to them, the fuzz were very nice about it all but felt they had a duty to investigate. This involved me writing a statement explaining the context of the joke to them. I particularly enjoyed putting the words 'giant donkey d**k' into a message to a police detective. The tour continues until September, unless I am jailed," he added.
