UN: Key climate indicators set frightening records in 2021
Climate changes are more and more obvious.
The UN World Meteorological Organization has released a grim new report on the state of our "blue" planet.
Four of the seven major climate indicators set disappointing new records last year. The indicators contain a set of parameters reflecting data on climate change.
“I will sum it up: the global energy system is broken and is bringing us closer to a climate catastrophe. Fossil fuels are an environmental and economic dead end,” said UN Secretary-General António Guterres. "... The only sustainable future is a renewable future," CBS reports.
