"We are deeply saddened": soap opera legend June Brown dies at 95
She has been playing with "EastEnders" since the 80s.
Soap opera star June Brown passed away Sunday, the Mirror quoted an EastEnders spokesperson as saying. June has played the role of Dot Cotton since 1985.
The TV star was 95 years old, colleagues and loved ones united in grief and shared their warmest memories of the star.
"We are deeply saddened to announce that our beloved June Brown, OBE, MBE, sadly passed away last night. There are not enough words to describe how much June was loved and adored by everyone at EastEnders, her loving warmth, wit and great humour will never be forgotten," said an EastEnders spokesperson.
