Will Smith formally apologize to Chris Rock for slapping him during Academy Award ceremony.
Rock made a distasteful joke about Smith's wife Jada Pinkett and the actor slapped him in response.
"Jokes at my expense are a part of the job, but a joke about Jada's medical condition was too much for me to bear and I reacted emotionally," Will Smith wrote.
He also said: 'I was wrong'.
It's not the first time Chris has joked about Will's wife. He ridiculed her when she said she would boycott the Oscars because of the small number of black nominees, Elle writes.
