‘We need adult conversation’: Mads Mikkelsen discusses J.K. Rowling trans controversy
The actor explains his position.
Mads Mikkelsen, who plays Gellert Grindelwald in Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore, speaks out about J.K. Rowling trans statements. The actor said he didn’t read the author’s controversial twits. Still he is surprised such big response.
"If the reaction is that crazy, we have to be very careful that we know what we’re talking about," he said adding no one can figure out what actually she said.
Mads Mikkelsen hopes for respect for both sides of conflict. "We need adult conversation," he told GQ.
